Stunning venue

When some brides decide on a destination wedding, it can be tricky to find the perfect spot. Yes, the internet can be a wonderful research tool – but it’s also hard to judge a book by its cover (or computer screen) . Or in our case, a wedding resort and destination by the highly edited stylised images that sell themselves online. Much like viewing real estate on a website, the seller always puts their best foot forward. I’ve read about another destination bride picking a certain resort as it was the only resort that actually resembled its images on their website!

Lucky for us, we happened to encounter one of those eureka moments, when the stars align and things just seem to fall into place. Just after Mr. B proposed, we left Bangkok in search of some sunshine, clear skies, cocktails and lashings of luxury. Enter Railay Beach, Krabi. For those who don’t have much Thailand experience like me, I can sum it up into three words…beach, sunshine & paradise! From the moment we arrived, we knew this would be the place we tied the knot. Everything about it impressed us and when we witnessed a wedding there, we knew it was 'the one'. 

Just another day in paradise, no biggie...!
